Olafur Eliasson: Your Curious Journey At Singapore Art Museum

Olafur Eliasson is best known for his captivating installations, internationally renowned for his diverse range of cross-genre works that make the ungraspable tangible. His artworks continue to find meaningful resonance with contemporary audiences through his deep engagement with society and his environment.

In Eliasson’s first highly anticipated exhibition, Olafur Eliasson: Your Curious Journey, this is his first major solo exhibition in Southeast Asia. This solo exhibition brings together 17 key artworks that employ diverse media, touching on major themes of Eliasson’s career spanning three decades – embodiment, experience, perception. These themes are coupled with global issues such as the urgency of climate action and more-than human perspectives.

Your Curious Journey has just opened to the public at Singapore Arts Museum at Tanjong Distripark and will last until 22nd September 2024. This exhibit is open daily from 10AM – 7PM. Singaporeans & PR’s can enjoy a discounted ticket price of $15, while tourists and foreign residents will have to pay $20 for a ticket. Concession tickets are also available.

We also look forward to connect new audiences to Eliasson’s work in Your Curious Journey, where they can immerse themselves i Eliasson’s interactive installations and discover the varied perspectives that contemporary art can bring to some of today’s most pressing social and environmental issues.
