Experience 8 Rainforest Zones & Amazing Wildlife Encounters

Rainforest Wild Asia recreates the beauty of a tropical rainforest, offering visitors an immersive exploration or a quick escape from city life. Across eight distinct zones, you’ll have the chance to experience every layer of this extraordinary ecosystem—encountering 36 animal species, including rare ones like the François’ langur and the Philippine spotted deer. Other highlights include spotting Malayan tigers prowling their habitats or coming face-to-face with Malayan sun bears—all from safe yet intimate vantage points.

We got a sneak peek, and truly felt like we were hiking through a Southeast Asian rainforest. Here’s an overview of what you can look forward to at Asia’s first adventure-based zoological park.

Our journey begins at the Entrance Gorge, which is like a portal that one enters and find yourself in nature’s serenity. Here, you’ll be soothed by the sounds of the waterfalls and meet freshwater species like the Asian arowana and Southern river terrapin. Moving beyond this point, the choice to shape your experience becomes evident, with wayfinding signs revealing the different paths, you can choose to take the elevated pathway, where treetop vistas and aerial perspectives await. Or, you can choose to immerse yourself in the Forest Floor, where every step brings you closer to wildlife encounters.

The Watering Hole is the largest zone in Rainforest Wild Asia, offering an immersive look at how water shapes and sustains life in the rainforest ecosystem. Here, you’ll come across fascinating species such as the playful Malayan sun bear, the gentle Malayan tapir, and the mighty estuarine crocodile. The zone also features a flexible habitat that rotates species like the babirusa, red dhole, and bearded pig, encouraging dynamic interactions that showcase their natural behaviours.

The final exploration is The Cavern, a cooling 220-metre underground labyrinth inspired by Southeast Asia’s legendary Mulu Caves. This subterranean realm, towering rock formations and mysterious chambers create an atmosphere that’s both dramatic and ethereal. Here, darkness reveals its own fascinating residents – watch for the distinctive Madagascar hissing cockroach, observe the remarkable cave racer reptiles, and catch glimpses of Asian black scorpions.
