Celebrate Japan’s Unagi Season in Singapore with UnaUna

Summer is upon us! Summer in Japan is a time to celebrate Unagi Day, a tradition that began circa the Edo period. To celebrate the unagi season, specialist UnaUna is introducing 3 new ways to enjoy the famed hitsumabushi – this brings a total of 6 ways to enjoy hitsumabushi!

One of Nagoya’s most famous dishes, hitsumabushi sees plump eels arrayed over a bed of fluffy Japanese rice. This has soared in popularity and is now found all over Japan and in other countries. Traditionally, there are three steps to enjoy the dish. Now, UnaUna has six different ways to jazz up the traditional dish! It is the first in Singapore to introduce this new style of hitsumabushi at VivoCity, and will be using Japanese ingredients to offer a uniquely UnaUna hitsumabushi experience.
