You know the feeling: you’ve just returned from Tokyo, you’re already missing the seafood bowl you had at that little place near the market, and nothing back home comes close. Kei Kaisendon gets it, and it comes closer than most. For nine years, they have served over 20 million bowls in Singapore, this goes to show that they’re clearly doing something right.
The glistening sashimi, the perfectly seasoned rice, the satisfying ritual of mixing it all together before the first bite. The award-winning Japanese seafood bowl chain has been delivering exactly that since 2017, and for their 9th anniversary, they’re going all in with nine brand-new bowls starting from just $9.90.

The new lineup is available across all their outlets. Here’s what to order.
Kei Signature Chirashi (from $9.90) A great starting point. The bowl comes loaded with salmon, tuna, mekajiki (swordfish), baby scallops, ikura, and a trio of yuzu, wasabi, and original tobiko. Colourful, well-balanced, and very wallet-friendly.
Super Kaisendon ($29.90) For when you want to go all out. This one is piled with whole abalone, shredded crabmeat, salmon, tuna, scallops, and ikura over Japanese rice. Order it, take your time with it.
Aburi Salmon Chirashi ($20.90) A bowl for salmon lovers. Fresh creamy salmon sashimi sits alongside aburi-seared salmon for a smoky contrast, all crowned with ikura.
Ultimate Negitoro Don ($26.90) Been wanting to try the viral Tsujihan kaisendon without the two-hour queue or a plane ticket? This is your answer. Premium sashimi chunks topped with finely chopped tuna belly and ikura.
Una Salmon Don ($28.90) Charred unagi and aburi salmon, finished with shredded crabmeat and wasabi tobiko. A combination that works better than it has any right to.
Salmon Belly Don ($26.90) For purists who want their salmon fully raw and unapologetically fatty. Heaped with fresh salmon belly sashimi and finished simply with ikura. Nothing more needed.
Una Tama Don ($25.90) Inspired by a viral Japanese dish, this fully-cooked bowl features fluffy tamago topped with fragrant grilled unagi over Japanese rice, lifted with a touch of truffle. The comfort food pick of the nine.
Bara Hotate & Salmon ($28.90) Bara typically refers to scattered cuts of seafood over rice, but Kei Kaisendon arranges the salmon and hotate (scallops) in the shape of a rose — bara also means rose in Japanese. Garnished with sesame seeds and wasabi tobiko.
Super Kaisendon ($29.90) The showstopper. Whole abalone, shredded crabmeat, salmon, tuna, scallops, and ikura over Japanese rice. Order it when you want to treat yourself.
One thing worth knowing: every bowl is served on Sansanmaru rice from Hokkaido, a naturally sweet and slightly sticky variety from the same family as the prized Yumepirika rice. For an extra $1.90, upgrade to the Truffle “Magic Rice”, a blend of kombu furikake, tobiko, and truffle. Worth it.
The 1-for-1 Deal
From 29 May to 23 August 2026, Kei Kaisendon is running a 1-for-1 takeaway promotion on selected anniversary bowls every Friday to Sunday.
