1. Dress the Part in Neo-Chinese Fashion

Before you do anything else, stop by Level 1 to browse the Neo Chinese Elegance showcase, a seasonal edit of modern heritage fashion that sits somewhere between cheongsam tradition and contemporary silhouette. Think refined fabrics, mandarin collars, and cuts that actually work beyond CNY.
When: 4 June – 2 August | Level 1, Yue Hwa Chinatown
2. Drink Your Way Through a Herbal Tea Flight

If slowing down is the goal, the Chinese Herbal Wellness Tea Tasting on Level 1 is worth building your visit around. Every Friday to Sunday, Yue Hwa’s wellness experts walk you through a curated selection of premium herbal blends — the flavour profiles, the traditional ingredients, the health benefits. It’s free with your visit, and a good excuse to sit for a moment before browsing the floors.
When: Every Fri – Sun, 5 June – 2 August (free with entry)
3. Make a Flower Ball (Yes, Really)

Every Sunday from 7 June to 2 August, Level 1 transforms into a pop-up botanical studio. Yue Hwa has partnered with Tea Therapy for a Flower Ball Making Workshop — a proper hands-on session where you’ll learn to structure a traditional floral arrangement from scratch, guided by an instructor. It’s a surprisingly meditative hour or two, and you leave with something you actually made.
When: Every Sunday, 1pm – 5pm (7 June – 2 August)
Price: $10 per person (walk-in registration on-site)
Bonus: Complimentary floral tea included
4. Hunt Down All Five Stamps

The Layered Stamp Journey is a clever way to actually explore the Yue Hwa Flagship building floor by floor. Collect a postcard from the Level 1 cashier, then work your way from L1 to L5, adding a stamped layer at each stop. The first 500 visitors to complete all five levels walk away with a $5 Yue Hwa voucher, though the postcard itself is worth keeping as a record of the building’s heritage.
Important note: Grab your postcard at the L1 cashier first.
5. Learn an Intangible Cultural Heritage Craft
This is the one for those who want to take something meaningful home. Yue Hwa has teamed up with the Singapore Cultural & Tourism Pavilion and BANYU for three traditional masterclasses, held at CHIMORE, Level 3.
