Vietjet’s Major Network Expansion: More Direct Flights from Singapore to Vietnam’s Top Destinations Da Nang & Phu Quoc

Planning your next beach escape? Before you book that same old Bali trip, consider this: Vietnam has quietly become Southeast Asia’s best-kept secret for savvy travellers who want paradise without the premium price tag.

Vietjet has just announced a massive expansion of its Singapore-Vietnam services, transforming two of the country’s most spectacular destinations from occasional weekend escapes into genuine alternatives to the region’s traditional beach hotspots. Starting this November, you’ll have twice-daily flights to Da Nang and daily service to Phu Quoc, with promotional fares beginning at just SGD86 one-way.

The expanded services bring Vietjet’s total Singapore-Vietnam operations to 49 weekly round-trip flights across four destinations (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Phu Quoc), providing Singapore travellers with more connectivity options during the upcoming holiday season and beyond.

Vietjet’s expanded schedule offers optimal departure and arrival times that maximise your holiday time.

Da Nang – Twice Daily Service

  • Morning departure: 11:15am

    • Great for early birds who want to make the most of their first day in Da Nang.

  • Evening departure: 7:55pm

    • Perfect for those who prefer a leisurely airport transfer or a full day in Singapore before flying out.

  • Return flights: 1:10pm and 3:00pm

    • Convenient timing that allows you to check out from your hotel without rushing.

    • Offers flexibility for onward connections after landing back in Singapore.

Phu Quoc – Upgraded Daily Service

  • Departure: 1:05pm (arrives 1:45pm local time)

    • Mid-day schedule avoids the stress of early morning airport runs.

    • Still leaves you with most of the afternoon to check into your resort and begin exploring.

  • Return flight: 3:45pm (arrives Singapore 6:30pm)

    • Allows a relaxed, unhurried final morning to enjoy the beach

    • Early evening arrival in Singapore means you’ll still have your night free.

Vietnam welcomed 17.5 million visitors in 2024, officially overtaking Singapore to become Southeast Asia’s third most popular destination. Yet popular beaches like Bai Sao in Phu Quoc or My Khe in Da Nang remain refreshingly uncrowded compared to their Indonesian or Thai counterparts.

Book through vietjetair.com or the Vietjet Air mobile app. Singapore passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Vietnam for stays up to 45 days, or 30 days when flying directly to Phu Quoc.
