What Can I do in JB?

Go Shopping

Shopping is easily one of the things Singaporeans love to do when we cross the causeway.  The many malls in JB, old or new alike, might just satisfy the shopaholic in you. The most popular malls in JB like Aeon Tebrau, KSL City Mall, Paradigm Mall and Johor Premium Outlets have become household names in Singapore. Newer malls have surfaced in JB, including R&F Mall, which is a mere 7-minute walk from Woodlands Causeway.

Explore JB’s Food Scene

Loklok is a great supper choice

There is never a lack of food options in JB. In fact, it may actually be the opposite. One of the many aspects of JB that draws Singaporeans in is its vibrant food scene. The choices are seemingly endless, from burgers to Bak Kut Teh and Loklok. Prices are extremely affordable most of the time, which is a huge bonus.

Go-kart Racing

Live out your Mario-kart dreams in JB but this time, with more speed and no banana peels. Go-karting can get quite expensive in Singapore so it might not be ideal if you’re on a budget. This will not do huge damages to your wallet so challenge your friends and family to a race.

If you go around evening, you might just be able to race against the sunset!

If you’re looking to go go-karting in JB, check out Rud Karting. With affordable prices starting from RM55/session, it is hard to say no. Each session runs about 10 minutes, which may seem really short but trust us, it’s more than enough.

It is advisable to book a slot prior to your trip by dropping them a message or giving them a call.

Visit Legoland

Not forgetting the young ones, Legoland is the perfect activity for a family trip to JB. Legoland Malaysia not only has a theme park, but also a waterpark and Sea Life Aquarium. It may be hard to do all 3 during a day trip, so you may want to stay at Legoland’s very own hotel. This is a whole-day activity in itself so you might not be able to bundle this activity with the rest.

One-day tickets for Legoland Theme Park costs SGD$44.61 (Adult) and SGD$35.25 (Child) when you purchase from Changi Recommends.
