Ben Thanh Market is one of the oldest markets in Ho Chi Minh City and dates back to 1914, when French colonists established it as Les Halles Centrales de Saigon. The market was designed as a centralized location where merchants could buy and sell goods, similar to bazaars that were common during that period. In 1952, it was renamed after the Bến Thành ward—where it is located—and has been known as Ben Thanh Market ever since.

3. Tan Dinh Church

Built by French colonists in the late 19th century, this iconic church is one of the oldest structures still standing in Saigon, and it has become an important cultural landmark for locals and tourists alike. The bright pink walls make it a great spot for taking pictures!

4. Thien Hau Temple

Thien Hau Temple is another popular destination for photographers looking to get some great shots. Built in 1760, it is home to the venerated Goddess of the Sea, Thien Hau. This temple is a must-see for anyone looking to explore Vietnamese cultural and religious history.
