The Rum Bellion returns on June 5, 2022, following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The festival, hosted by Heart of Darkness restaurant, will include a variety of rum-related activities and events for rum connoisseurs and novices alike.

With over 30 brands and 60 rum expressions, including participating brands such as Tiki Lovers, Doorly’s, and The Kraken, both discerning and daring rum connoisseurs can enjoy and discover something new! Bartenders from Asia’s 50 Best such as Jay Gray from Sago House and Joseph Haywood from Low Tide will be shaking up the finest cocktails for brands like Chalong Bay, Doorly’s, Equiano, Foursquare, Phraya, Renegade and Samai.
Each Rum Bellion 2022 ticket is S$12, and the main event will take place on 5 June from 1pm to late hours.
Leading up to the launch of the festival, there will be fringe festivities taking place on the 3rd and 4th of June at *participating bars in Singapore.

Launch of Limited-edition Plantation Single Cask 2021 Jamaica 1998
The festival will showcase the greatest of rum, as well as the debut of the 22-year-old limited-edition Plantation Single Cask 2021 Jamaica 1998 in Singapore.
The rum is distilled at Long Pond Distillery in 1998, then aged 20 years in Bourbon casks. It is then matured for another 2 years in Ferrand casks, and finally finished 10 months in Bardstown Fusion Series Bourbon casks. There are only 126 bottles for the Asia Pacific market. This limited edition rum is sure to be a hit with collectors and rum aficionados alike. With its unique flavour profile and limited availability, the Plantation Single Cask 2021 Jamaica 1998 is sure to be a coveted addition to any collection.
Special edition Heart of Darkness beer inspired by rum cocktails
At the festival, the Heart of Darkness is excited to roll out a special edition beers inspired by popular rum cocktails. Daiquiris, pina coladas and mojitos will all be represented, and each beer will be carefully brewed to capture the essence of its namesake drink.
