Coming for the first time this August 24th and 25th (Saturday and Sunday), South Korea’s Waterbomb Festival will be making its debut appearance in Singapore. It will also be the only stop in South East Asia this year, with other cities in Asia being Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh. This splash festival will include the celebration of all things Korea. From Kpop, EDM and Hip Hop music to delicious Korean food stalls.
Music Lineup
In Seoul’s home edition of the Waterbomb festival, superstars such as Taemin, Jay Park, Chung-Ha and Bibi have all featured in their lineup in previous years. The lineup for Singapore has not been announced as of yet.
Get Wet!
Traditionally these events douse the entire crowd in buckets and buckets of water, with others likely bringing water guns and other forms of containers to splash others. Think of Songkran water fights on the street but with a focus on music as well.
If you can’t stand the Singapore heat then this is the perfect way for you and your friends to spend the weekend.
Sale and Pre-Sale
Tickets will go on sale for UOB cardholders on May 2nd 2024, whilst public sale will go on sale on May 3rd 2024. At this point prices are still unreleased.
More information about the venue and lineup will be released at a later date. Alternatively if this interests you but you’re not in Singapore do not fret!
