Glamping With Penguins: Glamp The Night Away Whilst Enjoying Penguin Cove

Mandai Rainforest Group is now offering visitors the chance to go glamping with penguins. In a new experiential glamping package offered by the group, glampers will get to enjoy an entire fun filled 2D1N itinerary. Running across selected Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays across the rest of June, glampers can purchase a 1-night stay at a bell tent at Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove for S$1,699.

Each tent can accommodate up to 4 people and it is important to note that the minimum age of participation for visitors is 5 years old and above. If you are planning to bring kids, also take note that for every 3 children, there has to be at least one accompanying registered adult (above 21) in a tent. Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove – Penguin cove features one of the world’s largest sub-Antarctic, cold salt-water habitats for penguins. The water and air temperature in this enclosure are constantly maintained at a low of 8 degrees celcius. This cove also hosts an array of special lighting that mimics the changes in day length in the different seasons – all to stimulate the natural habitat of the penguins mimicking Macquarie Island. There are 4 species of penguins you can find here; the Gentoo, Humboldt, King and Northern Rockhopper Penguins.

Wings Of The World Presentation With Reserved Seataings – Admire the talents and intelligence that these beautiful feathered friends have. Catch parrots in a friendly match of duelling as they try to outdo each other with speed, agility and showmanship.

Backstage Pass: Avian Healthcare – Get a behind-the-scenes look at how the aviary vets keep the birds in the park healthy at all times. Get an insight to how meals are prepared for the birds and how world class care is provided for the these unique creatures.

Hong Leong Foundation Crimson Wetlands Guided Tour – Be able to come up close and personal with special feathered friends, whilst learning more about them from the informative bird keepers.
