Artbox night festival is back for 2024 and it’s happening this month and the next! Hosted over 2 weekends, Artbox will be held from January 26th – 28th, and February 2nd – 4th at the Singapore Expo Hall 2.
What is Artbox?
The first Artbox was held in Thailand back in 2014. It was then crowned as Asia’s largest container market. The name ‘art’ and ‘box’ translated to giving artists and creators space to display their talents and creativity, while being built around many large shipping containers, creating a unique experience and environment. Artbox is not a place that only showcases art but is an event with over 300 different vendors collaborating together. With a mix of street food, great photo opportunities, merchandise and music, it makes for a great spot to visit.

Be sure to catch the live musical performances by Mister Spruce, The Mad Trio Ft. Khim Ng, Happy Together Ft. Amanda Tee, Jocelyn, The Parkinson, Sam & John, Reverie, TMD Ft. Allie, and Sarco. There are also several different competitions that you can participate in but take note that these are scheduled all throughout the day and night across these weekends, so plan ahead of time!

There are 3 different competitions that visitors can take part in. These are the Hopscotch of Pain Championships, National Piak Cockroach Championships and National Water Bottle Tornado Championships where you have a chance to walk away with $888 SGD. There is one more competition, the ‘Creator’s Deathmatch’, however it is for visitors to spectate, as it is specifically for SGAG to participate in where they will be going head-to-head on the Hopscotch of Pain.
Tickets
General Entry tickets for Fridays start at $6 with Saturdays being at $7. Take note that there is a $1 SGD booking fee on top of the stated ticket prices above. Included in your admission ticket is also several experiences listed below:
- Complimentary try at the Arcade Alley Claw Machine.
- Complimentary session of one song at Teo Heng KTV-in-container.
- Complimentary VR or Nintendo Switch Gameplay at Gamestop Arena
- Complimentary AI photobooth session at Alternate VP’s.
