Largest range of over 55 Japanese wagyu cuts

At Gyu San, you can find different cuts of premium wagyu from different prefectures of Japan. Prime selections like striploin, tenderloin and ribeye are offered alongside secondary cuts that are just as sought after like the flank, oyster blade and tri tip.

Currently, there’s the Kanzaki Gyu from Iwate prefecture that is known to be 100% free of antibiotics and Hida Gyu from Gifu prefecture that is known for breeding cows solely for the production of prime meat, grading A5 and above in the national average ranking.

The traditional methods of raising Wagyu cattle result in a superior product that is juicier, more tender, and more flavourful than other types of beef. In addition, the luxurious taste and texture of Wagyu makes it a truly special treat. Whether you’re enjoying a juicy steak or a flavourful burger, Japanese Wagyu is sure to leave you wanting more.

Gyu San also sells take-home Sukiyaki and Yakiniku sets, so you can cook up some beefy goodness at home.

Indulge in Top-grade Japanese Wagyu Katsu Sandos and Chips

Are you still reminiscing about your last trip to Japan? Well, come satisfy all your craving for Wagyu Sandos right here at Gyu San!

The Gyu Katsu Sando is made with Kamichiku’s Satsuma Gyu 4% Miracle ($48), featuring four precision-cut quadrants of a perfectly square steak sando. The meat is richly marbled with a full-bodied flavour and the melt-in-your-mouth texture had won over our hearts and stomach. The crustless shokupan was perfectly golden and crispy. Gyu San truly lives up to its mission to serve authentic premium wagyu cuts.

There are other premium cuts available for your sando such as Gyu San house cut ($32), striploin ($48) or the chateaubriand ($62) for your beef.

For something different but just as delicious – try the Ebi Katsu Sando ($28) which tempts with a fresh minced shrimp patty, deep-fried and doused in a housemade tartare sauce or Tamagoyaki Katsu Sando ($18) with a fluffy thick omelette patty glazed with wasabi aioli nestled within. The A5 Yakiniku Salad ($18) is a great choice if you’re looking to balance out all that protein and carbs.

All sandos and chips are fried in an indulgent mix of oils rendered from the different fats of premium true Japanese wagyu. Without a doubt, Gyu San is the only restaurant in Singapore that prepares their dishes in this manner, as they obtain the wagyu fat directly from the butchery. That explains why their Wagyu Chips ($8) are irresistibly tasty.

Stop by Gyu San for some of the best wagyu cuts in town. You can get your quick lunch fix or spend an hour lingering over drinks after work.
