This spicy and hearty dish is made with a head of red snapper, and is served with rice and a variety of vegetables. The menu is similarly straightforward, there is only one signature dish. You can choose either a Single serving at S$10 (fish meat) or Fish Head/Tail at S$28 that’s usually for sharing. Cooking of the fish head and all the accompanying fresh vegetables starts only after an order is made. The dish is served in a clay pot loaded with a fleshy fish head, tau pok and veggies. The result is a heartwarming bowl of curry that has a perfect balance of spices, and the fish meat is soft and flaky.
