Google Earth Offers A Virtual Tour Of Cherry Blossoms Around The World

We’re midway through April and had Covid-19 not ravaged so many countries and halted travel to a standstill, I’d be in Japan catching some of the most beautiful Cherry Blossoms in the world.

Things don’t usually go as planned, but you know what they say, when one door closes, another one opens.

Well, in this case, since we all can’t visit the beautiful Cherry Blossoms around the world, Google Earth has brought the Cherry Blossoms to us.

Titled “Cherry Blossoms Around The World”, this virtual tour upon the Google Local Guides collection, which is an online database filled with tips and guides of various places around the world from locals.

Google Earth has condensed a list of the top 10 most stunning spots to catch the Cherry Blossoms around the world entirely based on the written reviews of locals and visitors.

Google Earth Cherry Blossoms Virtual Tour

The tour starts off at the Meguro River Cherry Blossoms Promenade in Tokyo, Japan and takes you to Miharu, Japan where you’ll see a 1000-year-old weeping Cherry Blossom tree that will have you wishing you could lay your eyes upon it in person.

Soon you’ll find yourself out of Asia and in amazing places like Kungsträdgården in Stockholm, Sweden or Square Jean XXIII in Paris, France. Each place comes with a mini writeup and an actual Google review left by a guide.

While nothing truly beats being at those fantastic and beautiful places in person, at least this way you can live vicariously through Google’s virtual tour, and it serves as a wonderful compilation of travel inspirations for your future travels.
