About Kanomori Craft Gin

Yomeishu was introduced in 1602 by founder Sokan Shiozawa to promote a healthier lifestyle with its formulation of herbal liqueur. Its mission continues today through its flagship product, Yomeishu, which is sold all over the world. In light of the worldwide boom in craft gin, Yomeishu started distilling their own gin and debuted Kanomori Craft Gin in 2019.

Kanomori means forest of aromasand one sip of this particular craft gin will whisk you into the deep mountain forests of Japan. Among the 18 botanicals used to create this expression, the Kuromoji, an aromatic tree found throughout Japan, is the prime botanical known to be extracted as essential oils. Other botanicals of this fantastic gin include lemon peel, blackberry twig, rosemary, sage, liquorice, goji berry and mulberry.

The Kanomori Craft Gin, despite its 47% vol., is very soft and mild and has notes of citrus, spice and herbs.
