Torched Marshmallow Ice Cream: The Most Popular Dessert in South Korea

Another dessert has been going viral in South Korea: Torched Marshmallow Ice Cream! This dessert is seen exclusively at a quaint shop called Basak Matcha (바삭마차). The shop specialises in selling deep-fried food but their best seller is none other than Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream.

The ice cream costs KRW4,000 (approx. SGD$4.06). It is available in 3 classic flavours, Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla. Another highlight of the ice cream is the dinosaur-shaped torch to unleash its fiery wrath onto the marshmallow. The results? A marshmallow ice cream that is perfectly golden brown on the outside and still cold on the inside.
