Singapore’s food scene is about to get a delicious boost as Takashimaya Department Store announces the return of its highly anticipated Food Fiesta 2025. Running from 19th June to 7th July, this culinary celebration will transform Takashimaya Square’s Basement 2 into a vibrant food street featuring more than 55 carefully curated local and international brands.
Taiwan Takes Centre Stage
This year’s festival marks a special milestone with Taiwan Delights making their Singapore debut. Food enthusiasts can look forward to authentic Taiwanese street food from legendary brands making their first appearance on our shores.
Good Meet Fishball, a 70-year-old establishment from Kaohsiung’s National Market, brings their award-winning fish balls that earned the prestigious Five-Star Gold Award in 2024. Meanwhile, Sausage Family Since 1985 offers traditional Taiwanese sausages crafted with imported ingredients from Germany, Sweden, and Japan, tailored specifically for Taiwanese tastes.
For dessert lovers, Wei Sister Sweetheart Bubble presents their signature large tapioca pearls filled with sweet red bean paste—a beloved Taiwanese treat that can be enjoyed with milk, juice, or ice cream.
Thai Flavours with a Healthy Twist
Thailand’s vibrant food culture gets a fresh interpretation. Thai Salad Bowl revolutionises traditional Thai cuisine with vibrant salad bowls, soft Thai bao buns, and hearty Thai burritos—all made with fresh ingredients and a healthy twist.
Nang Len Thai Restaurant, already making waves along Tanjong Pagar Road since October 2023, brings authentic dishes including Tom Yum Mama, Moo Ping, Som Tum, and Mango Sticky Rice.
Local Innovations and International Favourites
The festival showcases impressive diversity with 28 new brands joining established favourites. Local highlights include Sugar Mama Lah, Singapore’s first Kunafa Tiramisu creator, and Fried Chicken Master, Taiwan’s No.1 Halal fried chicken brand that promises the perfect crunch with every bite.
Japanese cuisine fans can explore Bake Cheese Tart, Yakumo Dango, and Niku Master offering dine-in ramen and Wagyu bento boxes. Korean food lovers will find Togi’s Korean porridge and fried chicken wings, while Indonesia is represented through Ollella and other regional specialties.
