ARTBOX Express – Creative Canvas on Wheels from City to Expo

Newly introduced this year is the ARTBOX Express. This is no ordinary bus ride as the bus has been decked with special creative takeovers by PHUNK Collective, with the idea of replicating the daily routine of many locals taking public transport but with and added artistic twists. Aligning to Singapore’s National Arts Plan of integrating art into everyday life, each bus-stop serves as a platform for unique performances and installations. Ticket holders can enjoy this round-trip transportation experience from the *SCAPE to the Expo venue with only a $0.50 top-up.
ARTBOX Estate – Reimagined Daily Life with PHUNK Collective

Upon arrival at ARTBOX EVERYDAY, visitors will be ushered to the ARTBOX Estate where all the fun activities and community interactions take place with the ambiance resembling ever familiar neighbourhood life.
At the heart of the exhibition, is the Hero Structure, which was inspired by Singapore’s heartland estates. While trying to recreate the unique kampong spirit, the installation showcases stacked shipping containers that resembles a HDB flat, complete with a communal void deck and the ARTBOX Convenience Store that offers a curated selection of products from prominent artists. At the top of the structure lies the ARTBOX Lounge, a dedicated space for creative professionals to foster new connections and collaborations between local and international creatives. Trade Day pass holders are also allowed to access the lounge.
Right next to the Hero Structure, is the Void Deck that closely mirrors the real deal. Alongside the ARTBOX Convenience Store and Post Office, these installations push the boundaries and redefine creative communal spaces filled with activities such as open mic karaoke sessions, chess and fitness activities.
There is also a Child Enrichment Centre where they can be dropped off for engaging and educational activities like Speech and Drama, and T-shirt doodling. There is something for all ages at ARTBOX EVERYDAY.
