Miss flying? You Could Soon Go On Special Flights to Nowhere With Singapore Airlines

Good news for the travel-starved population! You may soon indulge in your flights of fancy and switch to flight mode while air cruising. Singapore Airlines looks to launch flights to nowhere by end-October. Apart from going for daycation or staycation in Singapore, here’s another wish come true for those yearning for a short getaway!

Despite the disruptions that the pandemic has brought upon travel this year, it is evident that people around the world are still looking forward to travelling one day.

An Alternative Travel Experience in Covid-19 Era

Other countries like Taiwan and Australia have piloted flights to nowhere for domestic travellers. EVA Air recently launched a Hello Kitty-themed flight to nowhere, complete with fancy in-flight meals helmed by an award-winning chef. The nearly three-hour journey begin and end at Taiwan’s Taipei Taoyuan Airport.

Australia’s Qantas is teaming up with tour company Antarctica Flights to launch a 12-hour sightseeing flight between Australia and Antarctica slated to commence in November.

With travel restrictions still in place around the world, air cruise might just become the next holiday trend. If you could not fly to anywhere in particular, would you still pay to fly, just to get back in the air?
