NDP 2022: Find the Best Viewing Spot for Fireworks with Crowd@Marina Bay Map

In less than a week, Singapore will be celebrating its 57th birthday! This year’s National Day Parade (NDP) will be held at The Float @ Marina Bay. If you’re planning to catch the fireworks show, an online map has been developed that shows real-time crowd levels at firework viewing spots in Marina Bay. The Crowd@Marina Bay map will also show areas around Marina Bay that are closed. It is part of the safety and security arrangements put in place by the police for the NDP.

To prevent overcrowding and ensure the safety of everyone, only certain areas will be open to the public for fireworks viewing. These include The Promontory @ Marina Bay, Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza, Gardens by the Bay East and West (around Supertree Grove), Floating Platform@Marina Bay, Esplanade Park and Helix Bridge. Police officers and auxiliary police officers will be regulating the flow of the crowd in these areas.

If you’re planning to head down to Marina Bay for the fireworks, do check out the Crowd@Marina Bay map before you go. This will help you plan your route and choose the best viewing spot. Have a safe and happy National Day!
