Here’s Our Pick of the Best Things to Do in Singapore – February 2023

In an era of instant communication and rocketing productivity, it is important to practice self-care. We all need to take a break from time to time to recharge ourselves! If travelling abroad is not yet in your plans, there are still plenty of things to do in Singapore.
We pick out places to satisfy your cultural cravings, the latest dining specials, and the most exciting local events. For those looking for fun activities to do with your kids, we’ve got you covered as well!

1. MENTAL: Colours of Wellbeing at Artscience Museum

On a scale of 1 to 10, how are you feeling today? Contented? Overwhelmed? Anxious?

Give yourself a pat on your shoulder for making it through the pandemic days. It’s never easy to talk about mental well-being these days as most of us were brought up to embrace the grind.

MENTAL: Colours of Wellbeing is not an exhibition about mental illness, treatments or cures. It is a welcoming place where you can confront societal bias and stereotypes around mental health. MENTAL invites you to embark on an intimate and personal journey that explores the many different ways of being, surviving and making connections, that have become of increasing importance to us all.

International artists, makers, scientists, and designers created 24 interactive exhibits, art projects, and large-scale installations that explore mental health and ways of being. Additionally, seven Singaporean and Southeast Asian artists explore mental health from a Southeast Asian perspective.

Come dressed in your best outfits and snap away at this rainbow-coloured filled and interactive exhibition! We promise this exhibition will make you feel a lot better! Oh, and it’s also a great first-date idea!
