With a delightful menu featuring Black tea, Green tea, and Pu Erh, they have crafted a variety of unique drink combinations. What truly sets them apart from the chain stores is their preparation method. They take pride in using fresh milk instead of creamer and forego the addition of ice, resulting in an undiluted, flavourful drink. Plus, the boba toppings are free of charge.

When you ask the locals in KaoHsiung about the best milk tea, they will likely suggest Hwa Da Milk Tea, also known as “KaoHsiung’s Milk Tea”. Made using black tea as the base and topped with fresh milk from Taiwan’s GuangQuan local dairy farm. Today, Hwa Da has outlets all over Taiwan.

The main outlet is located in Yancheng District.

Lao Jiang Milk Tea, a beloved institution established in 1953, has been delighting locals with its traditional milk tea and breakfast staples. From egg omelette with pork floss to butter toast, their menu offers a delicious start to the day. With numerous outlets in KaoHsiung, they operate round the clock to cater to your cravings. Their milk tea, served without ice and with a fixed amount of sugar, is a must-try.

Yu Dian Cha (御典茶)

Their signature milk tea (Mongol Milk Tea) is made with Pu Erh as the base and they also used Taiwan’s GuangQuan local dairy fresh milk. Addition of toppings like tapioca pearl and white jelly are free of charge.
