Ultimate Father’s Day 2020 – Food, DIY Kits, Gift Ideas, and More

Perhaps it was due to the Circuit Breaker and the hype of delivery that Mother’s Day 2020 saw some unprecedented amount of delivery orders that left many places fully booked.

Well, it’s the King’s turn soon, and it’s been recently announced that Phase 2 will happen on June 19, so that means that we can all go out to celebrate Father’s Day 2020. But the early days of Phase 2 will also mean an ocean of people going out with some restaurants still scrambling to implement safe distancing measures so staying at home for the weekend may be fitting for some.

But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with a round up of some of the best deals and ideas out there for Father’s Day 2020.

Special Menus

Most often, the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.

1. The Capitol Kempinski Hotel

Home to the The Capitol Theatre and a bevy of incredible restaurants and bars, The Capitol Kempinski is bringing you a rich and hearty Father’s Day set that will have you wishing it was available all year round.

The Special Menu for Two comes with sumptuous delights that includes Roasted Black Angus Beef Hanger Steak with Red Wine Sauce and Mini Yorkshire Pudding, a Penne Rigate Salad with Piquillo Peppers, Hard Boiled Egg and Bacon Mustard Dressing, Roasted Vegetables with Garlic and Thyme, and a decadent Vairhona Chocolate Fudge Cake to end off the meal.

It’s a feast for a King indeed (and his Queen of course).

You can order the Daddy’s Day Special Menu on www.shop-capitolkempinski.com or call them at +65 6368 8888.

2. SPRMKT

For Father’s Day 2020, the café has introduced an epic breakfast bagel set menu that headlines their Ultimate Breakfast Bagel which features cream cheese, avocado, beef pastrami/smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, and shaved onions and capers all crammed within their very own sourdough bagel (a mighty feat on its own).

If you’re a vegetarian, opt for their Korean BBQ Mushroom Bagel, starring succulent oyster mushrooms, Go Ju Chang sauce, shredded carrots and cucumbers topped with an overeasy egg.

Just writing this is making me drool.

SPRMKT’s breakfast bagels are available for takeaway and delivery from June 15 to 21. Call 8129 8166 or email contactus@sprmrkt.com.sg to order.
