Exclusive Gastronomic Sunset Sail by Singapore’s Top Chefs on The Royal Albatross

Singapore’s culinary landscape is charting a new course this September. The Royal Albatross, Asia’s sole luxury tall ship, is partnering with the Singapore Tourism Board to offer an unparalleled dining experience.

Three of Singapore’s culinary stars will be stepping aboard to showcase their talents in a series of exclusive 5-course menu.

Chef Lee Boon Seng of Imbue, Chef Petrina Loh from Morsels, and Executive Chef Edward Chong of Peach Blossoms will each bring their unique flair to the ship’s galley, creating bespoke 5-course menus that promise to tantalise taste buds and challenge culinary conventions.

This gastronomic voyage isn’t just about the food—it’s a celebration of innovation and skill. As Pete L. Pela, CEO and Owner of the Royal Albatross, points out, preparing fine cuisine at sea presents its own set of challenges. “We chose to invite a group of Singapore’s best chefs to pit their skills and bring their innovation and techniques to this special collaboration,” he explains.

Imagine savouring Chef Lee Boon Seng’s award-winning creations, infused with his deep-rooted culinary heritage, as you glide past Singapore’s glittering coastline. Or perhaps you’ll be treated to Chef Petrina Loh’s Asian fusion masterpieces, featuring her own fermented sauces and locally-sourced ingredients. For lovers of Cantonese cuisine, Chef Edward Chong’s innovative take on traditional flavours promises to be a highlight.

Bonus: Lucky guests on the premiere sailings will have the chance to meet and greet these culinary maestros, adding a personal touch to an already extraordinary evening!

With only three sailings per chef starting from 2 September 2024, this gastronomic adventure is as exclusive as it is exciting. It’s a perfect blend of Singapore’s world-class culinary scene and its stunning maritime setting, offering food lovers and adventure seekers alike a chance to indulge in something special.
