The Coastal Settlement

The Coastal Settlement is a casual dining restaurant, café and bar located at Changi. Previously known as Block 20 Changi Camp, you will get a wave of nostalgia with their antique furniture and décor. The restaurant is surrounded by lush greenery and fields, and you can occasionally catch a glimpse of airplanes overhead. If you’re bringing your pets, you can enjoy a nice meal at their outdoors seating area.
They serve international cuisine with a local contemporary twist. Though their prices can be rather steep, they have reasonably priced high tea. Their high tea menu is available from 3.30pm – 5.30pm. Their high tea set is priced at $19/pax and includes refillable coffee and tea.

Canopy

Kill two birds with one stone at Canopy, where you can enjoy their biophilic dining concept and the company of your pets. They welcome furry friends at their alfresco dining area.
They have an extensive menu, serving mains, pasta, pizza, brunch items and many more. There is Happy Hour available from 3pm – 7pm on weekdays. Many reviewers commented that the food there did not disappoint.

Canopy is located at HortPark, and Ang Mo Kio Park. After a satisfying meal there, you can take a stroll around the parks.
Both branches open early in the morning till night. As Canopy is a popular spot, it is advisable to book ahead if you’re visiting on the weekends.

The Brewing Grounds is a lively café located in the East. They describe themselves as “An airy-café with international offerings”, which is an accurate description. They even have a small playground located on the premises, making it great for anyone with kids or pets.

Many reviews sung praises for the warm relaxing ambience and great food (especially brunch). Their signature includes their fluffy scrambled eggs, a dish widely touted by regulars. Their breakfast menu is rather limited so pop by after 10am for the full menu.

Wheeler’s Estate

Hidden in the unassuming Seletar Aerospace Park is Wheeler’s Estate. It is Singapore’s largest dining destination and is formerly the British Married Officers’ Quarters- turned heritage building.
They have a large outdoor dining area which allows pets. Enjoy the rustic vibes and abundant nature surroundings, which is paired with delectable food and live music! It is advisable to make a reservation before heading down.

Amongst all the places that are listed, Open Farm Community is arguably the most unique option. Open Farm Community is a trendy farm-to-table restaurant and farm. They cooperate urban farming into their dining concept, serving mostly plant-based dishes. The produce is sourced locally and showcased through international dishes.
Open Farm Community has also been awarded the MICHELIN Plate Award in 2021, The MICHELIN Plate award is given to those without a Star or a Bib Gourmand, but is recognised for their good food.
