The Bahay Kubo, a traditional stilt house symbolizing Philippine community spirit, features prominently in this orchid display. Surrounded by over 40 orchid species, including Vanda, Dendrobium and Phalaenopsis, the exhibit highlights the beauty of Philippine orchids. Don’t miss the waling waling (Vanda sanderiana), known as the Queen of Philippine Orchids, blooming in the first few weeks. Also on display are other remarkable orchids like Phalaenopsis schilleriana, an ancestor of many pink moth orchid hybrids.
