Co-organised by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and Singapore Chinese Orchestra, this year’s CNY Family FUN which runs from 17 to 19 Jan, will feature local Chinese music performances, a spring bazaar, a lion dance, a LED snake dance, free arts and crafts activities, programmes by Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, and more!

5. Chingay Parade 2025 (7 – 8 Feb)

Singapore turns 60 this year, and Chingay Parade is pulling out all the stops to celebrate! Did you know this iconic event actually started back in 1973 as a street parade for Chinese New Year? It’s come a long way since then, evolving into a spectacular showcase of Singapore’s diverse cultures. This year’s theme is “Joy,” and they’re bringing it with amazing PassionArts installations, delicious-looking food floats, and a show-stopping performance by 60 lion dancers, and it’s all happening at F1 Pit Building!

6. POP MART Themed Celebration at Jewel Changi Airport (10 Jan – 28 Feb)

7. Chinatown CNY Bazaar (8 Jan – 28 Jan)

Even before Lunar New Year arrives, Chinatown is already bursting with energy! There’s lively performances and bustling bazaar which features a wide array of stalls selling traditional Chinese New Year goodies, decorations, and gifts. You can find everything from delicious snacks and candies to beautiful lanterns, red packets, and auspicious ornaments. The bazaar can get quite crowded, especially on weekends and closer to Chinese New Year’s Eve on 28 Jan. Be prepared for large crowds and potential congestion especially during the weekends.
