Famous Japanese sake brewery Umenoyado honours the year of tiger with a special brew – 2022 Zodiac Tiger Label Limited Takashima Omachi Kimoto Junmai Ginjo sake.
Umenoyado Sake Brewery released a three-year-aged limited-edition sake for the Year of the Tiger 2022, created from Omachi, a premium sake rice from Takashima, Okayama Prefecture. This sake was made in the “Kimoto” traditional method, which adds depth and acidity. It’s light and silky—with sweet rice notes and a slightly drier finish. The aroma consists of fresh greens mixed with flowers, and a bit of a mineral quality.
