Calling all chocolate lovers! From 5 July to 3 October 2024, The Courtyard at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore invites you to immerse yourself in a cocoa-centric extravaganza with their new ‘For the Love of Chocolate’ Afternoon Tea experience. Curated by Executive Pastry Chef Siddharth Prabhu and his team, this menu showcases the rich, indulgent flavours of chocolate paired harmoniously with fresh and aromatic accents of fruit and nuts. Perfectly timed to coincide with World Chocolate Day celebrations on 7 July, this delectable affair promises to delight both the palate and the senses!
Sweet Creations
Imagine sinking your teeth into creations like the Cherry – a Morello cherry and Guanaja chocolate crème masterpiece adorned with edible blooms. Or the Lemon, featuring silky lemon ivory chocolate curd atop almond frangipane and finished with rosella flower meringue. While the Hazelnut offers a dark chocolate choux pastry paired with crunchy hazelnut praline and cocoa biscuit, blending bittersweet tones harmoniously.
Savoury Delights
Complementing the sweet offerings are savoury pastries that include highlights like Roasted Prime Beef with Sauerkraut and Manjari Cacao Nibs, and Norwegian Smoked Trout with Cream Cheese and Raspberry Inspiration couverture. Classic finger sandwiches such as Coronation Egg Salad and Cucumber with Dill Cream Cheese also adds a savoury balance to the chocolate-themed feast.
Quintessential Accompaniments
No afternoon tea is complete without freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and jam. Wash it down with The Courtyard’s signature Iced Chocolate or choose from a selection of premium beverages from TWG Tea and Bacha Coffee.
