Singapore’s luxury hospitality landscape is set to welcome an extraordinary new addition with the launch of The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, opening in the third quarter of 2025 at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS).
The 183 all-suite luxury hotel, created through a landmark collaboration between RWS and Marriott International, will become Singapore’s first hotel property under The Luxury Collection brand when it debuts, with bookings available from May 2025.

What sets The Laurus apart from Singapore’s already impressive array of premium hotels is its distinctive concept inspired by a collector’s home. Named after laurel leaves historically used to crown victors and honour achievements, the property symbolises excellence and curated treasures.
“Each experience at this boutique luxury hotel is a harmonious blend of storied elegance and vibrant discovery,” explains Tan Hee Teck, Chief Executive Officer of RWS. The hotel’s design philosophy crafts a narrative that seamlessly blends Singapore’s tropical charm with historic colonial elegance.
Colonial Charm Meets Tropical Sophistication
The Laurus seamlessly integrates Singapore’s rich cultural heritage with contemporary luxury. The five-storey structure features elegantly appointed suites with refined details that reflect a sophisticated aesthetic—from luxurious bedding and carefully curated furnishings to sleek monochromatic accents that exude timelessness.
Beyond the accommodations, guests can indulge in a beautifully landscaped outdoor swimming pool, spa facilities, and a new all-day dining concept restaurant. The property also offers courtyard spaces and a function room for intimate events and ceremonies, making it ideal for both leisure travellers and those seeking an exclusive venue for special occasions.
A Strategic Addition to RWS’s Transformation
This new luxury offering forms a key part of Resorts World Sentosa’s ongoing transformation and expansion plans. Tan Hee Teck, Chief Executive Officer of RWS, emphasised that The Laurus “embodies the very essence of our ongoing pivot to offer curated destination experiences” and will further cement RWS’s “esteemed status as Asia’s premium lifestyle destination resort.”
Meanwhile, Rajeev Menon, President of Asia Pacific excluding China for Marriott International, noted that The Laurus will “celebrate the essence of the city,” drawing inspiration from “Singapore’s storied past and rich cultural heritage.”
