For the first time ever, there will be cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) activities in partnership with BytePlus, a ByteDance product that helps businesses enhance their digital transformation capabilities.

The 7th edition of the Singapore River Festival returns from 7 September to 1 October 2023. The Singapore River transforms into a riot of colour and culture, with an exciting line-up of weekly themed events such as augmented reality (AR) experiences, live bands and dance performances, culinary experiences, and even fun activities with your pet!

1. Lightings at Bridges, 07 Sep to 01 Oct
To celebrate the Singapore River Festival, three historical bridges – Cavenagh Bridge, Read Bridge, and Alkaff Bridge – have been adorned with vibrant lights. Each bridge symbolises a different aspect: Future Progression, Lively Ensemble, and Garden City. These illuminated bridges offer a stunning visual representation of the dreams and aspirations of Singaporeans.

2. Singapore River Signatures, 07 Sep to 01 Oct
Let’s travel back in time to the year 1299, when Sang Nila Utama bestowed upon our land the name ‘Singapura’. Delve into the vibrant spice trade that made our city a bustling hub, uncover fascinating stories of the bridges that connect us, and step back in time to experience the early charms of Clarke Quay as an entertainment hotspot.
