Time to Get Off the Couch and Get Active With Singapore Wellness Festival 2024

Starting from the end of this month, Singapore will kick-off a month-long worth of wellness activities and programs for anyone to partake in to improve their physical and mental well-being as part of Singapore Wellness Festival 2024. This year will see one of the biggest celebrations yet with over 120 diverse wellness programs across several iconic locations around Singapore.

The Wellness Festival will take place from 21st June to 21st July with over 75 reputable programme partners. Activities and programmes can be found island wide with some being chargeable, whilst others are mostly free.

In partnership with the National Arts Council (NAC), the civic district is home to Singapore’s historical and cultural legacy with iconic landmarks and rich & diverse architecture. The Civic District offers two key highlight programmes for the Wellness Festival 2024.

  • Gallery Wellness Special: The National Gallery is partaking in this by celebrating ‘Keep Learning’, one of five ways to wellbeing at the Gallery Wellness Special 2024. From immersive art therapist-led workshops designed to unlock creativity and promote emotional wellbeing to storytelling sessions tailored for young minds, there’s something for everyone. Free Entry – Additional paid programmes are also available.
  • Oo La Lab: Craft Fragrance Experience: Immerse yourself in a special wellness experience with Oo La Lab. Their signature fragrance design and mixology workshop will take on a new dimension, blending the art of scent creation with the chemistry of well-being.
    Priced at $98/pax for a 20ml EDP Workshop and $118/pax for a 50ml EDP Workshop.

Marina Bay

Rejuvenate your mental and physical well being at Marina Bay while taking in the beauty of contemporary luxury, cultural landmarks and scenic sights. The Marina Bay District offers three key highlight programs.

  • Where Mind & Body Connect: Taking place every day of the week from 7:30AM – 8:30AM, everyday offers a different class held on the iconic Marina Bay Sands Skypark Observation Deck with sweeping views of the island and coastlines. With a range of classes of different paces and rythms, there is something for all ages and all fitness levels.

    Tuesdays – Pilates
    Wednesday – Vinyasa Yoga
    Thursday – Sound Meditation
    Friday – Pilates
    Saturday – Soul Flow
    Sunday – HIIT
    Class prices for the public are at $32.70, whilst Sands Lifestyle Members can enjoy a discounted price of $29.45.
  • Project: Send Off the Wall: This climbing-inspired workout combines the dynamic moves required in climbing with higher-intensity exercises. Not only will this activity challenge your ability to move efficiently, but it will also challenge your movements to be smooth and with power. This new and unique fitness concept is great to challenge veteran boulderers and is also great for new climbers.

  • Femmes First 2024: The very first female focused cycling event returns on July 20th at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore. Enjoy riding at early light surrounding the scenic Marina Bay Precint with an awards ceremony for Wonder of Women awards with a relaxing pool side breakfast and lucky draw with great prizes to be won.
    You can participate in this event for $38 inclusive of breakfast.

Orchard Road

Explore the tranquilness amongst Singapore’s busiest shopping belt which carry global branded names, world-class dining, and innovative experiences. The Orchard Road District has 4 key activities as part of the Wellness Festival 2024.

  • Learn to Surf, Stretch & Cold Immersion Recovery Workshop: Learn how to surf going through the basics of surfing with an experienced guide at Trifecta Singapore. Following that, immerse yourself in an ice bath and stretch to recover. Held on 6th, 13th, and 20th of July on Saturdays, this workshop allows patrons to sign up for one or the other, or both workshops.
    Pricing starts at $50 per pax for the Cold Immersion for Recovery & Stretch, $100 per pax for Surf Introduction Class, and $120 per pax for Surf Introduction Class + Cold Immersion For Recovery & Stretch.
  • Exclusive Night Ritual (Featuring Night + Vitamin E Collection): Enjoy an experiential and sensory session relaxing with Jo Malone’s frothy Body & Bath Wash before being pampered with their Vitamin E collection. Finish off the session with an aromatic spritz from the enchanting Night Collection and accompanying soothing tea, and door gift to take home. There are various time slots an venues to participate in this session.

  • 60-Minute Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy combines oxygen and molecular hydrogen to rejuvenate both mind and body, promoting holistic health from within. The world-class Airpod™ is designed to evoke a serene environment in either a sitting or lying position. Available from 24th June to 19th July, Mondays to Fridays, 9AM to 8PM.

    Booking one session with COMO Shambala will include:
    • 1 x Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in the mild Hydroxy Airpod™ Device.
    • 1 x Signature COMO Shambhala Ginger Tea.
    • Locker and Towels provided.

  • Ikigai Workshop: Immerse yourself in the world of art jamming. Intertwine the creativity of art with skincare to have a deeper fundamental understanding of Ikigai. Expect a guided palette knife painting session, learn about ikigai & self discovery, complimentary in-depth skin analysis (worth $80), experience mtm labo exfoliations, all materials will be provided for. Visitors do not need any prior experience. This workshop will run for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Sentosa

  • Fishing Catch and Cook: Fishing Catch and Cook provides a truly unique fishing experience for tourists and locals alike to learn more about the culture and history of Singapore. The fish caught at the end of the day will be wrapped in banana leaves and grilled the traditional way bringing the local flavours closer to home.   • The Big Bollywood Workout: Madame Tussauds will host a Bollywood workout session with music and dancing from some of the most iconic scenes and films from the industry. Bringing that same infectious Bollywood spirit to these classes, dance with other like-minded young at heart individuals. This class lasts an hour and is restricted to 30 pax per class. These classes are only on 21st June (Friday), 29th June (Saturday), and 14th July (Sunday) at 9AM.

  • Paint Away! Mindfulness Art Jamming Session: Embark on a sensory journey with your hands through wax and clay sculptures. Learn the art of painting and pick up neat tips and tricks from the studio manager on how to pain on wax or clay. Also held at Madame Tussauds Singapore, this workshop is held at the same time and dates as the Big Bollywood Workout.
    Prices for this experience are at $52/pax.

Singapore River

Live vicariously through artful expression and unique experiences of the Singapore River. Revel in the vibrancy that this waterfront neighbourhood offers.

  • Serenity Sail: Embark on a picturesque bumboat journey along the quayside while discovering the art of stress management. Led by a health expert, this tranquil voyage offers breathtaking views and insightful tips on mindfulness and well-being. Only held over three days from 21st June (Friday) to 23rd June (Sunday), registration for this activity is free.
  • Flowing Creativity: Have the chance to unleash your inner artistry skills in the great outdoors along the picturesque Singapore River at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Riverside Promenade. Flowing Creativity is an art jamming session. Express your own artistic flair on a 20cm x 20cm canvas and are free to sit wherever around the riverside that helps inspire you. This is also a free activity so come along and bring your family and friends!
  • River Wellness Quest: With five checkpoints featuring interactive wellness activities, there is many things to keep yourself busy. From folding origami, doing a yoga pose, to writing a supportive message for someone, you can collect stamps at each checkpoint to redeem at the end of the quest for vouchers while stocks last. This is taking place on 22nd of June (Saturday) from 2PM – 6PM.
