RE:PLAY AT SG is set to illuminate Singapore’s vibrant cultural scene from 23 August to 7 September 2024. As part of the Singapore Night Festival, this event invites visitors to delve into the rich tapestry of Singapore’s history and creativity through a series of immersive art installations and engaging programmes. Held at prominent venues such as the National Library and the National Archives of Singapore, this event celebrates the intersections of arts, entertainment and community.
Highlights of Re:Play AT SG 2024
Opera in Motion: A Dynamic Tribute to Chinese Opera
Explore the heritage of Chinese opera through an interactive installation at the National Design Centre. “Opera in Motion” features a tricycle adorned with tarpaulin-covered boxes and a zoetrope that animates scenes of traditional opera. This installation blends tradition with modern technology, creating a captivating homage to Chinese street opera.

This dance film, showcased at the Promenade of the National Library Building, explores the fusion of traditional and contemporary dance forms. Re:Play AT SG: Timeless Fun Through Childhood Games
