Event Highlights
Lantern Walk
Kick off the festival on 4 September with a special Lantern Walk. Collect a free lantern at 6:30pm and join in for a stroll through the beautifully lit Gardens at 6:50pm at SG 50 lattice (near Bayfront MRT station, Exit B).

Lanterns inspired by joyful scenes of childhood playtime light up Gardens by the Bay in the evenings from 6pm – 10pm. Some of these includes:
Celebrations
Crafted by local artist Mr. Lee Kow Fong (阿果), this enchanting display takes inspiration from the moon’s ascent and the water features of Dragonfly Lake. Infused with nostalgic Mid-Autumn Festival elements, it offers a whimsical portrayal of the season’s festivities.

Bubbles Bliss
A nostalgic haven for many and brings back fond childhood memories of bubble play. These moments of simple joy reflect the warmth and togetherness of family. Embrace the delight of bubbles this Festival and create new memories with your loved ones.
Bubbles playtime: 8:15pm and 9:15pm every night.
Location: The Meadow
The Shophouse
Inspired by the traditional shophouses of Singapore, The Shophouse evokes the charm of these historic buildings with their narrow facades and sheltered walkways. This nostalgic setting is perfect for celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with Kiddo and friends, offering a trip down memory lane to the joys of growing up.

Dragon Playground
A creation of local designers from its early days, weaves together cultural elements with the mythical dragon, a revered figure in Asian legends and folklore. Wishes Beneath the Moonlight
Pelican Playground, a beloved landmark in Dover evokes cherished childhood memories for many Singaporeans. The pelicans symbolize the Chinese cultural values of harmonious societal relationships. Accompanied by chrysanthemums and quails, this display signifies peace and harmony.

Lantern Craft Making
Experience the joy of Lantern Craft Making, a tradition rooted in the Han Dynasty and integral to Chinese culture. Create your own unique lantern and celebrate the festive spirit at $20 per person.

Chinese Tea Experience Workshop
Immerse yourself in the art of traditional Chinese tea with a 45-minute guided workshop. Discover the delicate process of brewing with premium Keemun Red Tea, one of the world’s renowned red teas or Osmanthus Keemun. Perfect for groups of up to 3 people, this session offers both an educational experience and a take-home tea set for $38.

DIY Lantern Painting

Special Features
Flower Carpet
Marvel at Singapore’s largest flower carpet, featuring a dragon playground and the national flower, Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim, set against the iconic Supertrees. The centerpiece showcases two dragon heads crafted from vibrant orange chrysanthemums, a tribute to the Lorong 6 Toa Payoh playground designed in 1979. While the remaining carpet blooms with Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim orchids, symbolizing Singapore’s rich heritage, intricately designed with multicolored chrysanthemums and burgundy Cyathula foliage.

Garden Rhapsody – Tales of the Moon
