VATICAN CITY, Vatican Museums – The Vatican Museums was founded in the 16th century and houses one of the world’s largest collection of artworks including renowned Roman sculptures and Renaissance masterpieces.

This spiral staircase, where your journey begins, is called the Bramante Staircase. Ingeniously designed with roots that trace back to 1505, the staircase is a double helix which allows people to ascend and descend without bumping into others in the opposite direction.
