The luxury hotel’s first major renovation since 2008 draws inspiration from the nearby Botanic Gardens, with new dining spaces, redesigned rooms, and a swanky bar on the way.
After nearly two decades of hosting Singapore’s most discerning guests, The St. Regis Singapore is ready to write its next chapter. The iconic Tanglin Road hotel, perfectly positioned between Orchard Road’s shopping paradise and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Singapore Botanic Gardens, has embarked on its most ambitious transformation yet.
Working with acclaimed design studio FBEYE International, the hotel is reimagining all 299 guest rooms and suites with a poetic nod to its leafy neighbour. Think refined botanical motifs, natural textures that bring the outdoors in, and a sophisticated palette of greens, blues, and soft earthy tones that echo the surrounding greenery. It’s luxury living with a conscience too—expect motion-activated LED lighting and potable water on tap throughout.
As General Manager Allen Howden puts it, this transformation reaffirms The St. Regis Singapore as “the Best Address in the city for exquisite stays, dining experiences and distinctive meetings and events”. For a hotel that’s long been synonymous with luxury in Singapore, this botanical reimagining feels both fresh and timeless—much like the gardens that inspired it.

June 2025: The Tea Room Hello, new afternoon tea spot! Decked out in ivory, teal, and blush pink (very Pinterest-core), this is where you’ll want to bring your mum for that fancy tea session. The Patisserie will also have grab-and-go options for when you need a quick sugar fix.
August 2025: St. Regis Bar Singapore Finally, a new cocktail spot! We don’t have all the deets yet, but if it’s anything like other St. Regis bars, expect top-shelf everything and prices to match.
End of 2025: All Rooms Done By Q4, every single room will be Instagram-ready with crystal-cut glass lamps and all those sustainable touches that make you feel less guilty about that staycation splurge.
The hotel’s events facilities are also receiving significant upgrades. The John Jacob Ballroom has been redesigned to capture the beauty of 19th-century European orangeries, complete with ornamental motifs reminiscent of trailing vines. Technical enhancements include two new LED video walls measuring 9 metres in length, intelligent lighting systems and state-of-the-art sound equipment.

To mark the renovation, the hotel has launched the “Exquisite Stays Redefined” package, available for bookings from June 1, 2025, through March 31, 2026. The offer includes the hotel’s signature butler service, daily buffet breakfast and complimentary Aperitivo Hour for two guests from 3pm to 6pm. You’ll be staying in one of the newly redesigned rooms – the Astor Room, Astor Grand Deluxe King, Astor Grand Deluxe Double, or Penthouse King – all featuring that fresh botanical-inspired aesthetic.
Whether you’re a local looking for a staycation spot or a visitor planning your Singapore itinerary, The St. Regis Singapore’s new chapter promises to be worth the wait.
