When two beloved homegrown brands join forces for Chinese New Year, you know it’s going to be special. WHITE Restaurant, famed for its Original Sembawang White Beehoon, has teamed up with bakkwa stalwart Bee Cheng Hiang to create a festive menu that marries wok-fried expertise with Singapore’s most iconic dried meat snack.
Toss to Prosperity with Bakkwa Yusheng Under S$50
The Golden Horse Abundance Bakkwa Yusheng is basically everything good about CNY in one platter. You’ve got your standard colourful veggie shreds, but instead of the usual salmon or jellyfish, Bee Cheng Hiang’s signature smoky-sweet bakkwa takes centre stage alongside their addictive crispy pulled pork twist. The small portion (S$48) comes with four whole abalones; go large (S$59) and you’ll get eight.

Not keen on splashing out? The Gui Fei version swaps whole abalones for premium sliced ones – still fancy, but easier on the wallet at S$38 (small) or S$49 (large). Flying solo? There’s even a S$10.80 personal portion for dine-in, because everyone deserves a lo hei moment.
Beyond the Toss: Collaborative Dishes

The collab doesn’t stop at yusheng. The Fortune Mongolian Pork Ribs with Pork Floss (S$18.80) sees tender ribs slathered in sticky Mongolian glaze and showered with you guessed it: pork floss.

Then there’s the Pork Floss Salted Egg Crispy Shimeji (S$15.80): deep-fried mushrooms coated in golden salted egg and finished with more pork floss.
Feast Options for Every Gathering
Whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or a full-blown family reunion, WHITE Restaurant has set menus to match.
The Prosperity in Full Gallop menu starts at S$238 for four persons, featuring the Gui Fei yusheng, Golden Crabmeat Fish Maw Thick Soup, butter prawns, and WHITE’s elevated white beehoon with sea asparagus clams. Larger options for six (S$368) and eight (S$538) add heartier dishes like deep-fried grouper and pork knuckle.
For a more premium celebration, the Golden Stallion Feast begins at S$268 for four, showcasing the abalone yusheng, VSOP Drunken Prawns, and Sea Cucumber Braised Duck. The menu scales up to S$438 for six and $608 for eight diners.
Takeaway for Intimate Celebrations
Not everyone wants to brave the restaurant crowds during the festive period. WHITE Restaurant’s takeaway bundles cater perfectly to couples, young families, or anyone preferring a cosy reunion at home.
The Double Happiness bundle (S$80 small, S$90 large) pairs the Bakkwa Yusheng with Abalone alongside a Golden Harmony Pork Knuckle. Step it up with the Triple Treats bundle (S$108 small, S$118 large), which adds the nourishing Prosperity Emperor Chicken to the mix.

Here’s where it gets even better: every Chinese New Year set menu or takeaway bundle purchased between 1 December 2025 and 3 March 2026 comes with complimentary dining vouchers worth up to S$125.
A four-person set earns you S$50 in vouchers, six-person sets net S$75, and eight-person sets bring in S$125. Even the takeaway bundles come with a S$25 voucher each—a thoughtful gesture that keeps the reunion spirit going well beyond the festive season.
Where to Feast
WHITE Restaurant operates nine outlets islandwide, from the original Sembawang flagship to locations at Jewel Changi Airport, VivoCity, Suntec City, and various heartland malls. Reservations are now open, with takeaway orders also available through Oddle.
Do note that outlets will be closed on 17 February (Chinese New Year Day 1) but will resume business as usual on Day 2.
