Singapore’s First Mystery Blind Box Bingsu Café Reimagines Dessert Experience With A Dose of Cuteness

Craving something sweet with an element of surprise? Step into the adorable world of Nana & Friends Cafe, nestled within Suntec City! This isn’t your typical dessert cafe—it’s Singapore’s first mystery blind box Bingsu cafe with eye-catching screens and unique vending machines featuring a heart-shaped button. But the real magic happens when you order their signature Korean shaved ice (bingsu). Why? Because each one comes with a surprise plushie pal hidden inside!

Every order of Korean shaved ice (bingsu) comes with a surprise Nana and friends’ character plushie bag charm.

This cute concept introduces Nana & Friends, EVO Amusement’s first homegrown intellectual property, poised to become the next big trend in character toys.

Singapore’s First Mystery Blind Box Bingsu Café Dispenses Plushie Surprises

This playful cafe brings together two contemporary obsessions: collectible blind box toys and beautifully crafted Korean shaved ice desserts.

The cafe’s star attractions are its original cast of characters, the locally-created Nana & Friends lineup. Unlike conventional blind box experiences that might end in gentle disappointment, here every revelation is guaranteed to delight.

Take your pick from 6 delicious bingsu flavours and keep your eyes peeled for a show! When the order’s ready, head to the giant vending machine and press the heart-shaped button to reveal your bingsu and a surprise plushie pal, all while a cute animation plays. The anticipation is palpable with every order – you can practically feel the excitement in the air as everyone eagerly wait for their turn at the vending machine.

But hold up, it’s not just about the surprise plushie – their bingsu is delicious! We’re talking fluffy shaved ice layered with creamy cheese foam, colourful toppings, and a surprise character pudding!

The Bingsu flavours available at Nana and Friends cafe are:

  • Mango: Mango compote, mango syrup, nata de coco, mango cubes, and pink boba.
  • Pineapple: Pineapple jam, pineapple syrup, pineapple rings, coconut flakes, and yellow boba.
  • Matcha: Matcha sauce, matcha powder, mochi with peanut powder, and red bean paste.
  • Strawberry: Strawberry pie filling, strawberry syrup, sliced strawberries, pink boba, and pink sprinkles.
  • Chocolate Caramel: Chocolate sauce, chocolate crumbles, brownie, cocoa powder, caramel sauce, and caramel popcorn.
  • Jiuxian: Sweet potato balls, yam balls, grass jelly, aiyu jelly, gula melaka sauce, and red bean paste.

We tried the Matcha Bingsu and enjoyed it. The toppings were generous and the creamy cheese foam layered over the shaved ice created a delightful contrast of flavours, making it perfectly balanced and not overly sweet.

Apart from bingsu, the cafe also offers pastries, mini tart, quiches and waffles to satisfy your cravings.

If you are not in the mood for bingsu, consider their mini tarts ($5 each) (12 available on a rotational basis, flavours change seasonally), or if you are looking for something more filling then go for their savoury quiches available in Salmon & Spinach, Chicken, Seafood, and Mushroom. Then pair it with their refreshing sodas.

They also have those viral Mochi Waffles ($4 each). These waffles are infused with chewy mochi for an extra layer of texture and flavour. Plus, you can choose from different spreads to take your waffle game to the next level!

With its delightful bingsu creations, surprise plushies, and other sweet treats, Nana and Friends Cafe is a sweet spot for a fun day out with friends and loved ones.
