Edge’s special buffet is a culinary love letter to Singapore’s diverse heritage, showcasing the island’s beloved dishes in all their glory. Savour the aromatic richness of Peppery Teochew Bak Kut Teh, indulge in the hearty comfort of Braised Soya Duck with Peanut and Yam Rice, and relish the iconic Bak Chor Mee. But that’s just the beginning! There’s a treasure trove of local delicacies to indulge – from the luxurious Singapore Laksa crowned with Baby Lobster to the melt-in-your-mouth Braised Kurobuta Pork Belly nestled in pillowy Lotus Buns. Delight in the delicate flavours of Teochew Steamed Local-farmed Golden Pomfret, savour traditional Nyonya Chap Chye, Kueh Pie Tee and Popiah.
Look out for the Old School Pop-up Drinks Stall featuring classics like Teh Tarik, Iced Limau, and Soya Chin Chow, plus a mocktail version of the famous Singapore Sling.
What’s a feast without a sweet finale? Round off your culinary journey with a tempting array of local desserts. Indulge in the rich flavours of Deep-fried Durian and Banana & Chempedak Ball. Don’t miss their National Day special, the Chempedak Cake, or the creamy Durian Pengat. For a nostalgic touch, savour the Milo Dinosaur Panna Cotta or aromatic Kopi O Cake. This comprehensive buffet experience transports diners on a tantalising gastronomic journey through the vibrant flavours that make Singapore’s food culture so dynamic and celebrated.
The “Flavours of the Lion City: A Culinary Expedition Through Singapore” at Edge is available for dinner from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm from 9 July until 8 August 2024, and is priced at S$108++ per adult and S$54 per child (6 – 12 years old) from Thursdays to Saturdays, and S$92++ per adult and S$46 per child (6 – 12 years old) from Sundays to Wednesdays. Prices include complimentary coffee, tea, teh tarik, iced limau, and soya chin chow.
The “Flavours of the Lion City: A Culinary Expedition Through Singapore” will also be available for lunch from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm and dinner from 6:00 pm – 10:00pm on Singapore’s National Day on 9 August 2024. Priced at S$128++ per adult and S$64 per child (6 – 12 years old), the offer includes complimentary coffee, tea, teh tarik, iced limau, and soya chin chow.
There’s also a special offer for those sharing Singapore’s birth year. Singaporean citizens born in 1965 can enjoy the buffet for S$88++ per person. This offer commemorates Singapore’s 59th year of independence, allowing those who share the nation’s birth year to partake in the flavourful festivities at a discounted rate.
