Sentosa Presents: A Big, Big World – Featuring 3 exceptional themes in 3 major zones for 3 months

Made any plans for this holiday season? How about adding a visit to Sentosa to your list of things to do! From now till 16 February 2025, you can explore the island’s three awesome worlds at “Sentosa Presents: A Big, Big World”, with the overlaying themes of Excitement, Dreams and Discovery.

You won’t want to miss out on the cool stuff to see and do from 7.8 metre tall installations to kite-flying sessions suitable for all ages at Resorts World Sentosa, Sentosa Sensoryscape, and Palawan Beach happening through Christmas and Chinese New Year.


A Big, Big, World of Excitement

Step into a Big, Big world of Excitement at Resorts World Sentosa! They are going all out with this one by bringing in 4 unique themed zones from all around the world such as England, France, Germany and Japan, celebrating their respective rich cultures and festive traditions.

Each of their designated zones feature a different a larger-than-life installation that make for an insta-worthy post that include a stunning 8.5m Hot Air Balloon in the France zone and a towering 7.8m Cuckoo Clock in the Germany Zone. Other amazing sights include a 10m tall LED Pyramid with the Eiffel Tower projected on and light spectaculars with the origami reindeer. To add on to the magic, they are also going to make it snow!

While you are there snapping away from the gram, try your hand at some of the carnival games, satisfy your sweet tooth with free sweet treats or catch The A Capella Society and sing along to holiday tunes.

RWS’s festive carnival will run from now till 2 Jan 2025 and will be switched up with new attractions in time for Chinese New Year from 19th Jan to 16 Feb 2025.

A Big, Big World of Dreams

At the next stop, A Big, Big World of Dreams is located at the newly launched Sentosa Sensoryscape. It offers guests a whimsical experience of sitting on giant fluffy swings with Cloud Swing Dreams and as the sun sets, the Sensoryscape transforms into a vibrant dreamscape called ImagiNite with interactive light projections and special Augmented Reality effects bringing the place to life.

When the dark walkways light up with glamour, street performances will take centre stage featuring home-grown buskers, K-pop dance contests, storytelling and even balloon sculpting shows fun for the whole family! On 22-25 Dec, additional special acts from bands include The Apex Project, Bellingham and many other local talents.

A Big, Big, World of Discovery

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s flying kites! This final stop of A Big, Big World of Discovery at Palawan Beach showcases a soaring tapestry of colours in a unique day-to-night kite fiesta.

During the day, visitors can participate in the Flight of Wishes, a hands-on kite making workshop where you can craft your unique kites and fly them in a designated area showcasing your creativity for all to see. Pre-made kites are also available for purchase. Not too far away, the Singapore Kite Association will be showcasing their massive kites flying in the sky.

In the evening, The Floating Marvels will feature 12 inflatable sea creatures such as jellyfishes, manta rays and whales that will light up the starry night sky. These larger-than-life inflatables measure up to 15 metres in size, adding to the enchanting spectacle.
