Wave goodbye to 2024 and join in the celebrations ushering in the new 2025 with Singapore’s ONE Countdown.
Announced by The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), ONE Countdown 2025 will be the first event to kick off the SG60 commemorations with the focus theme: Building Our Singapore Together.
With that theme in mind, there are a plethora of activities on offer as there is something for all Singaporeans to join in celebrating not only the new year but also how far Singapore has come over the years across multiple key locations as well as the 17 heartland locations dotted around Singapore!
Here is a list of events that will be taking place
The Heartlands
Prefer to celebrate closer to home? Residents of Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Bishan, Boon Lay, Bukit Batok, Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang, Hougang, Jalan Besar, MacPherson, Marine Parade, Marsiling, Yishun, Punggol, Tampines, Queenstown and Woodlands can look forward to ushering in the new year in their neighbourhoods.
Organised by People’s Association (PA), there would be activities for everyone to enjoy like carnival games, yummy food stands and a spectacular live performances!
More program details will be announced by PA in early December.
Singapore Sports Hub
Hosted by Mediacorp, Let’s Celebrate 2025 countdown show with a fun filled evening starting at 5pm with some awesome acts like The Annoying Circus Comedy Show, Bloco Singapura, CJ the Bubble Girl’s Bubble Show, and Fire Twirlers. These performances will definitely keep you entertained! From 7pm onwards, engage in games and activities for a chance to win fantastic prizes, and dance the night away with live DJ sets. For the grand finale, get ready to welcome the New Year with a non-stop 15-minute firework show when the clock hits 12!

Marina Bay
Hailed as one of the most popular viewing locations for the annual Marina Bay Countdown Singapore #MBSC2025 is definitely Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade, boasting a 3.5-kilometre-long promenade for all to gather and watch the Fireworks Over the Bay!
Furthermore, it is an important urban link connecting the various attractions featuring New Year Festivities around Marina Bay such as Brightening Lives at The Fullerton Hotel featuring 3 newly commissioned artworks alongside the 5 other existing ones by ART:DIS supporting artists with disabilities, Come Together at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay and the latest immersive light wonderland Illumi.

Sentosa
Celebrate the new 2025 By the Beach! From activities ranging Countdown Parties at Sentosa such as the 3-Day Yuewen Music Festival inviting DJs from over the world while boasting a spectacular 1000 drone and fireworks display, indulging in live station barbecued meats and seafood at the Beach BBQ Buffet to watching a breathtaking Fireworks at Palawan Beach!
For those bringing the whole family there’s a Countdown Party presented by Mastercard at Palawan green filled with child friendly activities such as Face Painting, Inflatable Slides and an Outdoor Movie Screening.
Looking to stay till later hours? Fret not as there is a complimentary shuttle bus back to HarbourFront.

Get ready for an awesome celebration at CQ @ Clarke Quay starting Dec 27! Check out cool digital games and art illustrations with the concept of futurism. Plus, there will be drones flying doing their choreography over the Singapore River with live music from local bands.
Although not much details are available now, however as seen from CQ’s 2024 Spectrum Countdown we can expect this year to be a blast as well!

Somerset Belt
Fancy a more youthful and hip experience? Try Somerset Belt: Set to be a vibrant youth precinct which aims to build unique identities and support their aspirations by providing them with the opportunity to implement ideas and shape the space into something to call their own. Part of the SG60 initiative, ONE Countdown 2025 at Somerset Belt will have multiple events bringing everyone including youths together and usher in the new year as ONE!
Events occurring include TRIFECTA FUNHOUSE, Made by Magic: Somerset Kids Countdown Fest and Music Day Out! – Magical Garden.
