We’ve made it halfway through the year, which means Singapore’s birthday is just around the corner! The National Day Parade (NDP) is a yearly highlight, offering both locals and tourists a chance to witness spectacular fireworks displays over the city. These dazzling shows typically take place every weekend leading up to the main National Day Parade on August 9th, starting around 8:15 pm.

Singapore National Day Parade 2024: Where and When
This year’s NDP celebration will be bigger than ever, with festivities extending beyond August 9th. The main celebration will be taking place at both The Padang and The Promontory at Marina Bay. Expect some of the largest fireworks displays in NDP history, potentially even at the two rehearsal shows. Heartland celebrations featuring fireworks will also be held across the island, ensuring everyone can enjoy the dazzling spectacle near home.

The festivities continue on the next day August 10th, five heartland locations across Singapore will host NDP celebrations with stunning fireworks displays. The five locations will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
