Universal Studios Singapore and Resorts World Sentosa is preparing to bring back their 12th annual edition of ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ to the theme park. This year will see a highly anticipated collaboration with Netflix’s Korean hit horror series ‘Sweet Home’. The annual tradition of Halloween Horror Nights will debut on the 27th of September and run all the way through to the 2nd of November 2024, spanning a total of 18 event nights. With 4 haunted houses, 3 scare zones, 3 shows and more, there will be too many activities to keep you tip-toeing through the night.
This Year’s Halloween Horror Nights tickets will go on sale on August 13th and can be purchased through Resorts World Sentosa’s official website.
Netflix’s Korean Horror Series ‘Sweet Home’
The current 2 season show, based on horrific monsters breaking out in South Korea follows the story of Hyun-Su, the sole survivor of a family car accident having to deal with an uprising of human turned monsters that take over the city.
This series was the first South Korean series to enter Netflix’s Top 10 in the United States reaching number 3 on the charts. The show was watched by more than 22 million paid subscribers worldwide in the first month of it’s release and peaked at Top 10 on Netflix in more than 70 countries. Sweet Home’s third season is set to debut on July 19th this year before the launch of Halloween Horror Nights in late September.
This year’s Sweet Home inspired haunted house attraction will feature the iconic scenes taken from Season 1 of the show set in the Green Home Apartment complex like Hyun-Su’s apartment unit, and the basement. Fans of the series can prepare to be scared by monsters appearing from both seasons 1 and 2 of the show.
