Working with a local historian, the hotel has heritage tours that pay homage to our country’s beginnings. The journey commences at the hotel’s 1927 building, which survived World War II bombings. It then takes you through significant landmarks such as the Civilian War Memorial, Lau Pa Sat, Cavenagh Bridge, and Esplanade Park. Come and explore the rich nostalgia that surrounds these places.
For those interested in exploring further, alternative routes towards nearby Chinatown are available. This includes visits to historical landmarks such as the 1903 Jinrikisha Station and the Yueh Hai Ching Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Taoist temples, built 128 years ago.

Working with Lion Brewery Co, the hotel will take you on an educational microbrewery tour at the brewlab, which is located in a heritage building built in 1928. The art deco style building used to house printing and bookbinding businesses on the ground level with residences above.
