5 Best Things to do in Singapore – June 2019

SINGAPORE – Branded as the City in a Garden with half a million trees amid its urban sprawl, adventures are lurking beneath its swanky skyscrapers and luxury malls. Singapore is not that boring, you just need to ask the right people. Here at Discoverist.sg, we check out the latest buzz for the month of June and here’s what to look out for:

1. Adventure Cove Waterpark

Singapore is perpetually warm and humid all year round with occasional bouts of rain. Instead of dreading the heat wave, we think it’s a good time to be out for a splashing good time!

Located off Singapore’s southern coast, Sentosa island boasts a myriad of attractions and one of them is a mega aquatic playground.

Enter Adventure Cove Waterpark where you can choose to laze the day away on the peaceful Adventure River or be an aquatic daredevil on the high-speed waterslides! Plus, you can even feel like a mermaid at the Rainbow Reef which has 20,000 tropical fish underwater. Sounds like a perfect destination for aquatic enthusiasts! You don’t have to travel to nearby islands to snorkel with tropical fishes!

There is a 10% off for tourists who are visiting Adventure Cove Waterpark! Find out more here.

2. JEWEL Changi Airport’s Canopy Park

There are no mountains in Singapore but who’s to say that you can’t have action-packed adventures among the trees and— in an air-conditioned environment?

Enter JEWEL Changi Airport, Singapore’s latest lifestyle destination which offers a multifaceted experience that appeals to nature lovers, shopaholics and foodies. Apart from the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, which is the centre of attention in Singapore and abroad, JEWEL continues to fascinate visitors with first-of-its-kind indoor playground at the topmost level (Level 5) slated to be opened on 10 June to the public.

The Canopy Park at level 5 is two times as big as a football field, featuring play attractions, gardens, walking trails and dining outlets in air-conditioned comfort. The play attractions are designed with activities that are traditionally conducted outdoors but are now brought to an indoor environment to be enjoyed under all weather conditions.

So look out for larger-than-life slides, animal topiaries, bouncy sky net and hedge maze!
