InterContinental Singapore Launches World’s First Champagne Drive-Thru

Celebrate World Champagne Day in style at the InterContinental Singapore, recently recognised as one of the Top 10 Best Hotels in Singapore by Condé Nast Traveller. The hotel is redefining luxury with the launch of the world’s first Champagne Drive-Thru, allowing guests to indulge in world-class champagne and caviar without leaving the comfort of their cars.

This innovative drive-thru service, which officially opens to the public on Friday, 25 October, is poised to captivate global champagne aficionados.

The Champagne Express Lane delivers a luxurious twist on the traditional drive-thru concept. Instead of fast food, visitors can indulge in an exquisite selection of world-class champagnes and premium caviar. The menu includes bottles like Adrien Renoir ‘Les Annees’ Solera Grand Cru, priced at SGD$327, and the 2012 JL Vergnon ‘MSNL’ Blanc de Blancs, complemented by the delicacy of Kaluga Queen Caviar for SGD$32.

The launch of this novel experience marks a significant moment for the hotel, which recently unveiled Singapore’s largest champagne collection.

Among the exceptional vintages featured among InterContinental Singapore’s huge collection:

  • Most Expensive – Dom Perignon – One of the most celebrated brands of vintage champagne in the world, including an eye watering $3,200 magnum bottle of Dom Pérignon “P2” (1500ml) Brut available for purchase.
  • Charles Heidsieck – World renowned champagne producer and known for its sophistication and excellence, this champagne is also served as the Business Class pour on Singapore Airlines.
  • Dhondt Grellet – Located in the heart of the prestigious Côte des Blanc with 40-year-old vineyards classified mainly Grand Cru and Premier Cru.
  • Jérôme Blin – A fourth-generation winemaker from a family rooted in Champagne since the 17th century, revitalised their 6-hectare estate in Vincelles with biodynamic farming, creating delicately oxidised, low-dosage champagnes.
  • Frédéric Savart – Located in the Montagne de Reims, this house of champagne happens to be a true pearl of prestige and high quality, where the conduct of the vineyard and winemaking is worthy of the work of a goldsmith.
  • Chartogne-Taillet – Stunning single-vineyard collectibles from the young star of Montagne-de-Reims.

Guests can either drive up to select from the carefully curated menu or opt for the convenience of online ordering for a quick pick-up. Enhancing the experience is the hotel’s personalised service, where an on-hand butler delivers the chosen delicacies right to the customer’s window, complete with a bespoke take-away box.

The Champagne Express Lane will open from late-October until the end of the year.
