Located on the 89th floor of the Taipei 101 observatory, you will spot tourists and locals making a beeline for KADOKADO – a specialty cafe that creates tasty and adorable egg cakes based on Taiwan’s landmark and culture. Most recently, they have launched a ‘Travel’ edition, featuring iconic places and landmarks around the world and Singapore’s Merlion has made it to the list!

Besides egg cakes, be sure to try the “Bai Shui Dou Hua” (白水豆花) – a silky smooth beancurd from Yilan, Taiwan, renowned for its delicate flavour. While you can find it in Yong Kang Street, Taipei, it’s a different experience enjoying it with a view of the sprawling city.
