TAIWAN, Kaoshiung – Hidden on the east side of the Zuoying district in Kaoshiung, Taiwan lies Lotus Lake, an artificial lake that owes its cultural significance to the numerous temples that surround the lake.
The main attraction would undoubtedly be the eye-catching Dragon and Tiger Pagoda with a dragon and tiger statue flanking the entrances of their respective pagodas. Steeped in Chinese culture and tradition, it’s often said to be most auspicious to enter from the dragon’s mouth and exit from the tiger’s mouth.
