ITALY, Venice – Two giant hands sprout up from the surface of the waters of the famous Grand Canal in Venice, Italy, seemingly propping up the 14th century walls of the Ca’Sagredo Hotel.
A fantastically surreal sight, the giant white hands were part of an art installation back in 2017 called “Support” that speak to the sociological and environmental issue of climate change. The sculpture has since been removed but the larger issue of the impact of climate change is as prevalent, if not more so, than ever.
